Etienne left for Vancouver Island today. I’m heading to Whistler with work on Thursday (Etienne wasn’t invited) so we’ll regroup when we’re both back on Sunday.
I’m super tired. I had work this morning plus another shift later this evening, so just having a chill day. I walked Etienne to the bus stop, visited the library, grabbed the worlds worst tea*, did some shopping** and then came back here (the hostel) to call my parents & chill before my shift.
It’s grey & rainy outside and the room I’m in is full of Brits.
So it’s almost like being back home, bar the tea incident. 🫖
*World’s worst tea: Officially on sale at Café Medina, Richards St. The place was actually packed & had great reviews, so I imagine if you order anything else you’ll have a better experience. The tea was truly, truly awful though. It didn’t even come with a biscuit.
** I’m not usually the shopping type, but we still don’t have Sephora in the UK, so I popped in to grab the only mascara that seems to handle my lots-of-travelling + lots-of-falling-on-my-face lifestyle – 100% recommend it. (This silver one) 👌 [Correction: it seems Sephora have now opened a store in London, but I didn’t know this till about 30 seconds ago.]
