24 Hours on a Train.

Sat on the train as I write this… on our way to Edmonton. Choo Choo!
So far it’s been almost 22 hours. We set off yesterday at 21:30 Central Time and it’s now 17:56 Mountain Time. (Not sure of the abbreviations, maybe CST/MST?)

Evidence for my Train
Giving Way Theory

The train is currently stopped. This seems to happen a lot. I think it has to give way to some other, more important, trains or something. Ah! Just took a picture to share my current view with you & managed to snap a train in it… guess this is the one we were giving way to. It’s not the most exciting picture, but it’s good evidence for my first theory.*

Etienne is napping, this happens a lot too.
I’m gonna get snacks soon, this also happens a lot.

*UPDATE: We are now moving just as the train left, so I am almost certain of my theory.

Anyway, the views have been incredible & we’re absolutely loaded with food/snacks so it’s been pretty dreamy… even if it did take a fair bit of fidgeting to get to sleep!

Total Time Lapsed: 1,304 minutes (i.e. 21 hours, 44 minutes)
Official time remaining: 2 hours, 16 minutes
Actual time remaining: Unknown.

  1. Have you seen snow piercer?! What level did you make it to before you got off the train? 22 hours is so long 🥴
