Today was spent out on the slopes. Kicking Horse is definitely a little bit above my level, but I’m improving and Etienne is loving it – so I’m happy!
There’s not really loads to say to be honest…
The weather was patchy. We went up the main gondola & it was thick cloud, totally white, so we stopped for mocha/hot choc & waited for the sun to break. (Luckily it did.) The hot choc was lush.
I skied in the trees for the first time which was fun. There was sooo much powder & it was bumpy. When you fell it was just like landing in a cloud, super enjoyable.
Etienne dragged me down a black as there was a long, wide blue at the bottom. If you know this resort, then it was the one to the left of the main gondola – “Sluiceway”, down into Bowl Over. If you don’t know this resort, then that fact still stands. I went down it sideways at about 2mph, but I still did it. Woohoo!
